Using selected ingredients, our confectioneries are made carefully one by one, all by hands. We provide safe and secure food from our loving hometown, Kitsuki city. Our products contains very small amount of preservatives and additives so they don't last so long. Please consume them soon.
Our signature homemade sweet red bean paste.
Our delicious homemade skin-peeled red bean paste is made with selected azuki red beans from Hokkaido and Matsuyamado's confectionery artisans' technique. Our signature skin-peeled red bean paste has pale color and lighter taste than usual red bean paste since the azuki bean skin is not contained. All of our confectioneries uses this skin-peeled red bean paste. Enjoy our healthy and delicious confectioneries including high-grade Namagashi (Japanese fresh confection) used for tea ceremony and "Miso Manju" which is made using "Ayabe Miso" produced by old local miso manufacturer.
Producing new products using natural blessings.
Considering customer's needs, we are producing new products using new ingredients emphasizing its' original taste. We are willing to create Kitsuki's new local specialities. "Kudzu Ice cream" which uses fresh fruits produced locally in Kitsuki is one of our new products.
LINEUP
Dainagon Kanoko (especially big red beans) wrapped with our skin-peeled red bean paste. High-grade Namagashi with cherry blossom petal topping. Recommended during spring season.
This confection expresses a field full of field mustard flowers by using bright green sweet paste with yellow sprinkle topping.
This Jo-yo manju (steamed rice cake) has rich yam flavor and distinctive soft texture. Finished luxuriously with a salted cherry blossom topping.
This light cherry pink high-grade Namagashi is limited only during the cherry blossom season.

Flour manju filled with our signature skin-peeled red bean paste.
Flour manju which year-aged mixed miso, produced by famous local miso manufacturer, "Ayabe Miso", is mixed in the manju dough. Filled with our signature skin-peeled red bean paste.
Flour manju with shiso leaves (Japanese basil) mixed in the red bean paste filling.
"Dorayaki" (Japanese pancake) made using locally produced fresh eggs, flours and honey, filled with red bean paste of Hokkaido Dainagon azuki (especially big red beans).
Monaka (azuki bean paste filling sandwiched between two thin crisp wafers made from mochi) with Kitsuki Domain family crest. Red bean paste is made of Dainagon azuki beans from Hokkaido and fine confectioner granulated sugar. Perfect tea time confection.
Kitsuki's representative confection which was presented to Emperor Shōwa. Plenty of butter is used in the outside dough with rum raisin based filling.
Momoyama manju with homemade egg yolk sweet paste and Japanese style marron glace fillings.
Momoyama manju with homemade egg yolk sweet paste and Green plum "Kanroni" (simmered in syrup) fillings.
Chewy Warabi-mochi made with 100% fine Kudzu starch (jelly-like confection made from kudzu starch and covered with kinako soybean flour) Sprinkle our special brown sugar syrup mixed Kinako (soybean flour) and enjoy.
